LESCO Meter Relocation Guide
Relocating your LESCO electricity meter can be done with ease if you follow the right steps. Here’s a straightforward guide to help you manage the process quickly and hassle-free.
Key Rules to Remember:
- Same Subdivision: Relocation is only allowed within the same subdivision. Moving meters to a different subdivision isn’t permitted.
- Ownership Requirement: The new location must be owned by the same person as the current meter location.
How to Relocate Your LESCO Meter in 5 Steps:
1. Submit an Application
Write a formal request to your subdivision officer, including the address for the new location.
2. Gather Required Documents
Attach these to your application:
- Latest electricity bill
- CNIC (ID) copy
- Property ownership proof for the new location
3. Visit the Subdivision Office
Submit your application and documents at your local LESCO office and collect a receipt for confirmation.
4. Pay the Relocation Fee
After approval, pay the relocation fee, which ranges between 1,000 to 5,000 PKR, depending on the complexity.
5. Meter Relocation
Once the fee is paid, your meter will be relocated, usually within five working days.
